A Little About Me
My name is Carin Snell and I am so glad you stopped by. I would really like to help you feel better and be better! I am a relational therapist who enjoys helping others find hope and joy in life. I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients to help them discover their own best way to overcome the problems they encounter. I am down-to-earth and provide an environment that is supportive, safe, and nurturing.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry with an emphasis on counseling from Nazarene Bible College. I obtained my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary's University of Minnesota. I am currently working as a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in St. Michael, Minnesota. The title "Licensed Associate" means that I am still in the process of obtaining full licensure and that I have passed the National Licensing exam. However, there is a second exam that we take here in Minnesota after we have acquired 4000 hours of supervised work. I'm about 3/4 finished with those hours.

I work with couples, families, and individuals. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Couples Therapy, Play and Art Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Experiential, and Existential Therapy. I treat ADHD, anxiety, family conflict, low self-esteem, depression, grief and loss, relational issues, life transitions, and more.

I have day and evening appointments available for your convenience.

I also offer Christian counseling upon request.
